Volleyball Game Preview: McLean Highlanders vs. George C. Marshall Statesmen

The McLean Highlanders will challenge the George C. Marshall Statesmen at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with McLean sitting on five straight victories and George C. Marshall on eight.

On Wednesday, McLean made easy work of Langley and carried off a 3-0 win.

McLean walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-12, 25-17.

McLean found their leader in sophomore Jose Eslinger, who had nine digs and three assists.

Meanwhile, George C. Marshall was able to grind out a solid win over Herndon on Wednesday, taking the game 3-1.

George C. Marshall's victory bumped their record up to 16-4. As for McLean, their win bumped their record up to 14-2.
