Shiner waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 9-8 W against the Sacred Heart Indians. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-1 last Monday.

Jake Simper was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Charlie Clifford, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Shiner's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Sacred Heart, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.
