Volleyball Recap: Antioch Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Antioch can now relate to. They fell 2-0 to the Lakes Eagles on Tuesday. The Sequoits have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Antioch's loss dropped their record down to 10-24. As for Lakes, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-9 record this season.

Antioch does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lakes, they will square off against Grayslake Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
