Volleyball Recap: Point Loma Comes Up Short

Point Loma was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Crawford Colts, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Colts this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on April 10th.

While Point Loma ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-19, 25-23.

Point Loma's record is now 3-24. As for Crawford, their win bumped their record up to 17-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Point Loma will host Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Crawford, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Castle Park at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
