Football Game Recap: Lahainaluna vs. Roosevelt

After flying high against Kamehameha Hawai'i last week, Roosevelt came back down to earth. Roosevelt took a serious blow against Lahainaluna on Saturday, falling 35 to nothing. The lax defense was uncharacteristic for Roosevelt, who until this contest were averaging 9.5 points allowed.

The defeat dropped the Rough Riders' record to 10-3. The victory was the 11th in a row for Lahainaluna and raised their record to 11-1.

Roosevelt's playoff loss brings an end to their season. Lahainaluna will go up against Kapa'a in continuing playoff action on Friday. The stakes are high as these teams both are all in, each fighting to extend its postseason success.
