Softball Recap: Glendale Prep Academy Griffins vs. Tonopah Valley Phoenix

After flying high against Wickenburg two weeks ago, Glendale Prep Academy came back down to earth. Glendale Prep Academy came up short against the Tonopah Valley Phoenix on Saturday, falling 20-6. The Griffins were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Phoenix apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2022.

Raegan Rockey put in work no matter where she played. She struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and 18 unearned) runs off nine hits (and only one walk).
