Soccer Recap: Highland Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Highland was not quite Thunder Ridge's equal in the second half on Thursday. They fell just short of the Titans by a score of 2-1. Highland haven't had much luck with Thunder Ridge recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Highland's goal came courtesy of Issac Robinson, who's now up to six this season.

The defeat was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 10-3-1. As for Thunder Ridge, the win was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-1.

Highland wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Rigby on the 6th. As for Thunder Ridge, they will head out to take on Madison at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Thunder Ridge will be up against Madison's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.08 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
