Softball Recap: Watsonville Wildcatz vs. Woodside Wildcats

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Watsonville can now relate to. They fell just short of the Woodside Wildcats by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Wildcatz couldn't push the score so high this time.

Amelia Martinez spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on five hits and racked up eight Ks.
