For the first time in his career, Zach Sumner scored a receiving touchdown on Friday. He picked up 54 receiving yards and two touchdowns, but sadly Arroyo Grande still had to take a 33-25 loss at the hands of Nipomo. We rated that as his best effort of the season, easily topping his previous best, set on August 22nd, when he picked up 12 receiving yards (Gamescore: 17.8166666666667 vs. 1.36666666666667).

Looking ahead, Sumner and Arroyo Grande will head out to take on Paso Robles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will pit Sumner up against the Bearcats' star WR Tre Clark. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.
