Baseball Recap: West Rusk Comes Up Short

West Rusk suffered their closest defeat since March 29th on Saturday. They fell just short of the Kilgore Bulldogs by a score of 8-6.

West Rusk now has a losing record of 12-13-1. As for Kilgore, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 12-17-1.

Looking ahead, West Rusk will square off against Edgewood at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Raiders' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Kilgore, they will head out on the road to take on Lindale at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
