Soccer Recap: Everett Comes Up Short

Everett lost against Edmonds-Woodway back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Seagulls came up short against the Warriors, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, Everett can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 167th, while Edmonds-Woodway are ranked 34th).

Everett is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-8-4. As for Edmonds-Woodway, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-5-2.

Everett does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Edmonds-Woodway, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Mount Vernon on the 10th.
