It was a good run, but California unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a hard 47-29 fall against the Chillicothe Hornets.

It was another big night for Jaishon White, who almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine rebounds for Chillicothe. The matchup was White's third in a row with at least ten points. Sol'Jier Allen was another key player, putting up ten points.

California's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Chillicothe, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-4.

California and Chillicothe should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings. California (ranked 116th) will meet Linn (ranked 509th) at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. California is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road dating back to last season. Meanwhile, Chillicothe will challenge Penney at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday up 200 places (163 vs. 363).
