Soccer Recap: Northside Comes Up Short

Northside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 9-0 to the Rogers Mountaineers. While losing is never fun, Northside can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas soccer rankings (they are ranked 59th, while Rogers are ranked fourth).

Northside's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Rogers, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1-1.

Coincidentally, Northside and Rogers will both be playing Bentonville West the next time they take the pitch. The Mountaineers will head out to face the Wolverines at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Grizzlies will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
