Softball Recap: Browne Bruins vs. Apollo Hawks
Browne had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They never let the Apollo Hawks get on the board and left with an 18-0 victory on Monday.
Shyla Vazquez made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 12 over four innings pitched. Vazquez was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two triples, two runs, and one stolen base.
