Cambridge typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday McCook proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Trojans, sneaking past 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bison have posted against the Trojans since September 19, 2020.

McCook had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-22, 25-20.

Jaylea Walgren paced McCook's offense, picking up 12 kills. Walgren got some help from Karstyn Porter and her 30 assists. Bailee Foster controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

McCook has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Cambridge, their defeat ended an eight-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-5.

Coming up, McCook will challenge Gothenburg on the 9th. Cambridge has already played their next match (against Maywood/Hayes Center), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
