Volleyball Recap: Durant Comes Up Short

Durant was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Branch Bears. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bears apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Durant's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for West Branch, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-8.

Durant wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Easton Valley on the 27th. As for West Branch, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Edgewood-Colesburg on the 27th.
