Northeastern won the last time they faced Pasquotank County and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Eagles walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Panthers.

Northeastern had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 26-28, 25-13, 25-10, 25-16.

Emma Mullins paced Northeastern's offense, picking up 22 kills. Mullins got some help from Mia Jones and her 23 assists. Mullins was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Northeastern's win bumped their record up to 7-14. As for Pasquotank County, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-13.

Northeastern wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Eastern Randolph on the 18th. Pasquotank County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
