Softball Recap: Pine Bluff Zebras vs. White Hall Bulldogs
After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three contests, Pine Bluff finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They came up short against the White Hall Bulldogs, falling 16-0. The Zebras were not able to make up for their loss to the Bulldogs from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.
Pine Bluff's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for White Hall, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-6-1 record this season.
Pine Bluff will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Mills University Studies at 4:30 p.m. on April 3rd. As for White Hall, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Arkansas at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
