Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Augusta). Their defense stepped up to hand the Brookland-Cayce Bearcats a 10-0 shutout on Tuesday. Katera Garner was a massive factor in the win as she booted in four goals all by herself.

North Augusta has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-8-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those four contests. As for Brookland-Cayce, they now have a losing record of 9-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Augusta will welcome South Aiken at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Brookland-Cayce, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Crestwood at 6:00 p.m. on the 28th.
