Soccer Recap: Sussex Central Comes Up Short

Sussex Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 8-0 to the Windsor Dukes. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Windsor this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 last Monday.

Sussex Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Windsor, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sussex Central will look to takes advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they takes on Appomattox Regional Governor's Arts & Tech at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
