Volleyball Game Preview: East Gaston Warriors vs. Highland Tech Rams

East Gaston hasn't had much luck against Highland Tech recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Warriors are taking a road trip to take on the Rams at 6:00 p.m. East Gaston will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak.

On Tuesday, East Gaston was able to grind out a solid victory over Burns, taking the game 3-1.

East Gaston was especially dominant in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 16-25, 25-16, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Highland Tech beat Cherryville 3-1 on Tuesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-12, 19-25, 25-14.

East Gaston's record now sits at 23-4. As for Highland Tech, their record is now 19-4.

East Gaston couldn't quite get it done against Highland Tech in their previous meeting back in September as they fell 3-1. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Rams' Carsyn Redmond, who had eight digs and three aces.
