Ridge View hasn't had much luck against Blythewood recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Blazers will host the Bengals at 5:30 p.m.

Ridge View is headed into Thursday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Sumter.

Meanwhile, Blythewood had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 goals) and they went ahead and made it eight two weeks ago. They never let the Demons get on the board and left with a 6-0 win. Blythewood might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by four goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Lugoff-Elgin from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Regan Flynn led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Blythewood pushed their record up to 13-1-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those four contests. As for Ridge View, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.
