Recap: Stroudsburg Mountaineers vs. East Stroudsburg North Timberwolves
The Stroudsburg Mountaineers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They managed a 60-54 victory over East Stroudsburg North. Winning may never get old, but Stroudsburg sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
When it comes to explaining why East Stroudsburg North lost, one person who can't be blamed is Bryceson Dobie. Despite the final result, he scored 19 points along with seven assists and two steals. Dobie is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 16 or more in the last three games he's played. Nate Wilder was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Stroudsburg is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for East Stroudsburg North, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-9.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stroudsburg will challenge Pleasant Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for East Stroudsburg North, they will head out on the road to face off against East Stroudsburg South at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. East Stroudsburg North is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 61.4 points per game this season.
