After both having extra time off, the Addison Panthers and the Onsted Wildcats will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 7:00 p.m. on March 6th. Addison is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
Last Friday, Addison didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Napoleon, but they still walked away with a 38-34 win. The win was just what Addison needed coming off of a 69-35 defeat in their prior game.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Onsted beat Dundee 43-38 last Friday.
Onsted relied on the efforts of Karlie Kimerer, who scored 11 points along with six steals, and JayElle Christian, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Ainsley Brezvai, who scored six points along with seven rebounds.
Addison's win ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-15. Onsted's record is now 9-12.
