Soccer Recap: Laney Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

Laney hasn't lost a match since August 22nd, a trend which continued in their latest game on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Topsail Pirates, sneaking past 3-2. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Laney were the better team in the second half.

They hit Topsail with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Noah Tidey, Andres Torres Romero, and Henry Tidey.

Laney pushed their record up to 12-1-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 29 goals over those seven matchups. As for Topsail, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5-2.
