Baseball Recap: Trinity Takes a Loss

Trinity managed to slip by West Davidson the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bulldogs came up short against the Dragons on Friday, falling 12-1. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Bulldogs, who until this matchup were averaging 3.81 runs allowed.

Trinity's loss dropped their record down to 15-6. As for West Davidson, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season.

Trinity will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Wheatmore at 6:00 p.m. The Bulldogs are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for West Davidson, they will head out on the road to challenge East Davidson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
