LaPoynor is 10-0 against Cayuga since February of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The LaPoynor Flyers will venture away from home to take on the Cayuga Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. Cayuga took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on LaPoynor, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, LaPoynor was able to grind out a solid victory over Frankston, taking the game 47-40. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Flyers.

Cayuga has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 47-41 heartbreaker at the hands of Frankston.

Cayuga's defeat dropped their record down to 16-9. As for LaPoynor, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season.

Everything came up roses for LaPoynor against Cayuga when the teams last played back in January of 2024, as the squad secured a 72-32 win. Will LaPoynor repeat their success, or does Cayuga have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
