Iota has gone 8-1 against Rayne recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The two teams will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 5:00 p.m. Iota is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.6 runs per game this season.

If Iota beats Rayne with 12 runs on Wednesday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two matchups with that exact score. The Bulldogs blew past Crowley 12-1 on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Iota got a massive performance out of Addison Cormier, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. That's the most stolen bases Cormier has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Chloe Bordelon, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Iota always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .613. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Meanwhile, Rayne fell victim to Bunkie and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 10-0 to the Panthers. The defeat continues a trend for the Wolves in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost three in a row.

Iota's win bumped their record up to 18-3. As for Rayne, their loss dropped their record down to 5-14-1.

Iota came out on top in a nail-biter against Rayne when the teams last played back in February of 2024, sneaking past 14-13. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
