Basketball Game Preview: Pitt County P Pacers vs. Goldsboro HomeSchool Heat

The Pitt County P Pacers are taking a road trip to square off against the Goldsboro HomeSchool Heat at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Pitt County P will be strutting in after a win while Goldsboro HomeSchool will be coming in after a defeat.

On Friday, Pitt County P slipped by Jacksonville Christian Academy 34-33.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pitt County P to victory, but perhaps none more so than Landon Pike, who posted 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Coghill, who had nine points.

Meanwhile, Goldsboro HomeSchool was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 58-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of Faith Christian Academy.

Pitt County P's victory ended an 11-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-12. As for Goldsboro HomeSchool, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.
