Basketball Recap: Hatch Valley Takes a Loss

Hatch Valley lost against Deming back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Hatch Valley Bears had to suffer through a 80-52 loss at the hands of the Deming Wildcats. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hatch Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Deming, the win snapped their losing streak at 27 games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-15 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hatch Valley will face off against Tularosa at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Tularosa has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 201 points over their last three matches. As for Deming, they will square off against Da Vinci at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
