Harbor Creek waltzed into their contest on Thursday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. Everything went their way against the Erie Royals as they made off with a 10-0 win. The Huskies might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by ten runs or more this season.

Kayla Bresee was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Brooklynn Cipalla was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Harbor Creek kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are a perfect 8-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Harbor Creek's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-4. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Erie, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harbor Creek will welcome Neshannock at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lancers will roll in looking for their 17th straight victory, something the Huskies surely won't give up without a fight. As for Erie, they will host North East at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
