Football Recap: Monte Vista Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Monte Vista and West Hills pushed the score to 42-21 the last time they played West Hills, but on Friday defenses reigned supreme. The Monarchs were just a hair shy of victory and fell 7-6 to the Wolf Pack. The Monarchs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolf Pack apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Monte Vista and nudges their season record down to 3-3. As for West Hills, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Looking ahead, Monte Vista will be playing at home against El Cajon Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for West Hills, they will head out to take on Valhalla at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wolf Pack will be up against the Norsemen's rather soft defense (which has allowed 39.33 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
