Basketball Recap: Labette County's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak at Home

Labette County's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They snuck past the Independence Bulldogs with a 56-51 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Grizzlies also won the last time the pair played back in February.

Labette County's victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-2. As for Independence, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Labette County will be home for the holidays to greet Parsons at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Independence, they will host Pittsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
