Football Recap: Camp Hill Takes a Loss

Camp Hill extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to five on Friday, dropping them down to 0-4. They were outmatched by the Newport Buffaloes and fell 47-12. The Lions were already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.

As for Newport, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1. The contest marked their most dominant win of the season so far.

Newport's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Dalton Kratzer led the charge by rushing for 137 yards and two TDs. The team also got some help courtesy of Trevin Arnold, who rushed for 76 yards on only ten carries.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Camp Hill is set to square off against their familiar foe Juniata at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Newport will challenge rival Susquenita at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
