Basketball Recap: Springlake-Earth Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Springlake-Earth, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against the Silverton Owls by a score of 50-43 on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Wolverines, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Springlake-Earth is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 3-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.0 points per game. As for Silverton, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Springlake-Earth will take on Kress in a holiday battle at at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Springlake-Earth is facing Kress at the right time seeing as Kress is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Silverton and Lazbuddie will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
