Lincoln-Way Central came tearing into Saturday's game with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Plainfield North Tigers by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 two weeks ago.

Lincoln-Way Central's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Plainfield North, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Looking ahead, Lincoln-Way Central will face off against Romeoville at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Knights are facing the Spartans at the right time seeing as the Spartans are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Plainfield North, they will square off against Metea Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
