Baseball Game Preview: Pembroke Hill Raiders vs. Barstow Knights

The Pembroke Hill Raiders will take on the Barstow Knights at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Pembroke Hill lost 20-5 to Fatima on Saturday. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pembroke Hill saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Langston Smith, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI. Alex Von Uckermann also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous five contests, Barstow brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. They blew past Maranatha Christian Academy 25-10 on Monday. The Knights' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Pembroke Hill's loss dropped their record down to 6-3-1. As for Barstow, their victory bumped their record up to 2-8.

Everything went Pembroke Hill's way against Barstow in their previous meeting back in April of 2021, as Pembroke Hill made off with a 9-0 win. Do the Raiders have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Knights turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
