Basketball Recap: Shawnee Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Shawnee entered their contest against Booker T. Washington on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Shawnee Wolves took a hard 66-48 fall against the Booker T. Washington Hornets. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Booker T. Washington's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Barron Harris Jr. led the charge by going 12 for 22 on his way to 24 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Matulis, who went 6 of 11 en route to 17 points.

Shawnee's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-4. As for Booker T. Washington, their victory was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shawnee will host Claremore at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Booker T. Washington, they will take on Bishop Kelley at 7:30 p.m. on January 14th.
