Baseball Recap: Allentown Comes Up Short

Allentown was the 5-4 winner over Lawrence when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Redbirds took a 10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cardinals on Thursday.

Allentown now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Lawrence, their victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Allentown will host Princeton at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lawrence, they will welcome Trenton Central at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Cardinals are facing the Tornadoes at the right time seeing as the Tornadoes are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
