Baseball Game Preview: Kenton Wildcats vs. Memorial Roughriders

Kenton is 0-5 against Memorial since April of 2015 but things could change on Saturday. The Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the Roughriders at 12:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with eight losses in a row, Kenton turned things around against Ada on Thursday. They came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 6-3 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game).

Memorial came out on top against Minster on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run sixth inning. The Roughriders were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Wildcats.

Kenton's record is now 3-11. As for Memorial, their record now sits at 10-6.

Kenton came up short against Memorial in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, falling 4-1. Can the Wildcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
