Basketball Recap: Carman-Ainsworth Comes Up Short

Carman-Ainsworth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against the Dow Chargers, falling 91-59. While losing is never fun, the Cavaliers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 291st, while the Chargers are ranked 101st).

Carman-Ainsworth's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Dow, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 10-8 record this season.

Looking ahead, Carman-Ainsworth will be playing at home against Mt. Pleasant at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Dow, they will venture away from home to take on Saginaw United at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
