Softball Recap: Osage's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Six

Osage put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Nashua-Plainfield Huskies an 11-0 shutout. The Green Devils have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Huskies, too.

Osage's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-0. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.0 runs on average over those games. As for Nashua-Plainfield, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Osage wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 5-4 victory against Crestwood on the 6th. Hopefully Nashua-Plainfield paid attention to the Green Devils' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Green Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
