The Hampshire Regional Raiders will face off against the Pittsfield Generals at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Hampshire Regional is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10 runs per game this season.
On Sunday, Hampshire Regional made easy work of Minnechaug Regional and carried off a 16-4 victory. The win continues a trend for the Raiders in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won eight in a row.

Ryanne Dubay1 spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned runs on three hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Teagan Charles, who went 3-for-5 with three runs, three RBI, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Rachael Hickox, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
Hampshire Regional always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .605. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Pittsfield fell victim to Mount Anthony and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 2-0.
Pittsfield saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nevaeh Lopez, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.
Hampshire Regional's victory bumped their record up to 15-1. As for Pittsfield, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-8.
Pittsfield's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Hampshire Regional has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 11.9 hits per game. It's a different story for Pittsfield, though, as they've been averaging 9 hits. Given Hampshire Regional's sizable advantage in that area, the Generals will need to find a way to close that gap.
