Football Recap: Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Comes Up Short

Pharr-San Juan-Alamo is still winless after their contest against Edinburg on Thursday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 17-14 heartbreaker at the hands of the Bobcats. The Bears were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bobcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Although Pharr-San Juan-Alamo took the loss, they still got scores from Ramze Arroyo and D'angel De La Rosa.

Pharr-San Juan-Alamo's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Edinburg, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.

Pharr-San Juan-Alamo has already played their next matchup, a 52-3 defeat against Economedes on the 16th. As for Edinburg, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 33-9 victory against La Joya on the 17th.
