Basketball Recap: Calvary Christian Academy Takes a Loss

After soaring to 63 points the game before, Calvary Christian Academy was a bit more limited in their match on Friday. They took a blow against the Unity Christian Academy Phoenix, falling 78-26. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 716th, while the Phoenix are ranked 320th).

Unity Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mason O'Neal, who went 9 for 15 on his way to 23 points along with six boards and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Malachi O'Neal, who went 9 of 10 en route to 19 points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals.
