            The Troy Warriors will face off against the Foothill Knights at 3:15  p.m.  on Tuesday. Troy has given up an average of 6.6  runs per game this season, but Tuesday's  game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Monday just wasn't the day for Troy's offense. They came up short against  Brea Olinda on Monday, falling  11-0. Having soared to a lofty 19  runs in the game before, the Warriors' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
Meanwhile, Foothill waltzed into their match  on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within a single  run of losing the streak, but they secured  a   4-3 W against the Wildcats.
 Capri Gallego spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three  runs (all of which were unearned)  on six hits and racked up six Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in five consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Zamarippa Belle was  excellent,  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances with one  stolen base and one  run. She has been hot, having  posted  at least one  stolen base the last seven times she's  played.
 Foothill's victory was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 12-13. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.33 runs across that stretch. As for Troy, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost eight of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record  this season.
