Volleyball Preview: Bishop Fenwick Crusaders vs. Masconomet Regional Chieftains        
        
		
             Bishop Fenwick and Masconomet Regional are an even 3-3 against one another  since October of 2014, but  not for long. The Bishop Fenwick Crusaders will take on the Masconomet Regional Chieftains at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Both come into the  game bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 Bishop Fenwick and St. Mary's met for a duel  on Monday where Bishop Fenwick came out on top. Bishop Fenwick took their   match against St. Mary's   3-1.
 Bishop Fenwick had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 15-25, 25-17, 25-12,  25-17.
 Bishop Fenwick  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 16  aces. That's the most  aces they've posted since back in September.
 Meanwhile, Masconomet Regional came tearing into  Wednesday's  matchup with ten straight wins  and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victor by  a  3-0 margin over the Panthers.
 The final score came out to 25-15, 25-11,  25-21.
 Masconomet Regional's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Cate Wettstone, who  had 13  kills and five  aces. Wettstone is  on a roll when it comes to  kills, as she's  now  had five or more in the last 15 games she's  played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Aimee Quimby, who  had eight  digs, five  aces,  and three  kills.
 Bishop Fenwick is  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record  this season. As for Masconomet Regional, their victory was  their fifth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 12-1.
 Bishop Fenwick might still be hurting after the  3-0 defeat they got from Masconomet Regional  in their previous matchup  back in October of 2022. Can Bishop Fenwick avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
