Softball Game Preview: T.L. Hanna Yellow Jackets vs. Andrew Jackson Volunteers

The T.L. Hanna Yellow Jackets are taking a road trip to take on the Andrew Jackson Volunteers at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (T.L. Hanna 2.5, Andrew Jackson 3.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.

T.L. Hanna took a nine-run loss the last time they faced off against Woodmont, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Yellow Jackets won by a run and slipped past the Wildcats 2-1. The victory was nothing new for the Yellow Jackets as they're now sitting on three straight.

On the hitting side, T.L. Hanna's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Hanna Davis 2028, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Meanwhile, Andrew Jackson had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They came out on top against the Golden Rams by a score of 8-3.

T.L. Hanna's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-2. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Andrew Jackson, their victory bumped their record up to 8-3.
