Baseball Game Preview: Anchor Bay Tars vs. Utica Chieftains

For the second straight game, Anchor Bay will face off against Utica. The Tars will welcome the Chieftains at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.

On Thursday, Anchor Bay beat Utica 9-6. The Tars haven't had any issues with the Chieftains recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Ty Finkbeiner, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. Logan Bickers was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Anchor Bay now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Utica, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-15.
