Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask White Plains). They walked away with a 13-9 victory over the Cherokee County Warriors on Thursday. This was a revenge game for the Wildcats: when they faced off against the Warriors last Tuesday, they had to take a 11-3 defeat.

White Plains has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-10 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Cherokee County, with the loss, they broke their eight-game winning streak and moved their record to 18-11-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Warriors beat White Plains by a score of 11-3 later that day.
